Purpose: This help doc outlines how to create a quiz within Canvas. 

  1. On your Canvas dashboard select the appropriate course and open Quizzes in the course sidebar: 


  2. Click + Quiz/Survey in the top right corner: 


  3. If prompted, select your preferred quiz engine: 


  4. Enter quiz details and settings as needed:

  5. Build the quiz questions of your choice, or use a question bank: https://tmufacstaff.helpdocsite.com/quizzes/how-do-i-use-a-question-bank

  6. If utilizing course modules, add the quiz to the appropriate module as needed.
