Purpose: Troubleshooting Missing Pictures on Canvas Quizzes.
Note: Firstly, make sure that you are using either Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. There is no guarantee that you will not encounter this issue. The best thing that can be done is to try and prevent it by clearing your browser cache prior to attempting an exam or quiz. None of these fixes are guaranteed to work, due to the nature of image caching issues, but they are the most consistent solutions found thus far. For situations where these fixes do not resolve the issue, please contact LMS Support (lmssupport@masters.edu).
Process:
- Refresh your quiz. This will attempt to re-grab the image which may make it appear for you. You can do this by either pressing the icon next to your url bar or by pressing CTRL + R (Command + Shift + R if you're on a Mac).
- Clear your browser cache, making sure that you clear all cached images and files. This is the primary method of solving this issue.
- Safari on iPhone/iPad: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
- Safari on Mac: Clear your browsing history in Safari on Mac - Apple Support
- Google Chrome: View & delete your Chrome browsing history - Computer - Google Chrome Help
- Mozilla Firefox: Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox | Firefox Help (mozilla.org)
- Microsoft Edge: View and delete browser history in Microsoft Edge
