Purpose: To explain how to Connect to TMU WiFi with a Personal Device
Windows:
- On the taskbar, click on the Wifi icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Select the network available to you and click connect: TMU-WiFi.
- Open your internet web browser and you will be automatically directed to the authentication page.
- If you have not been automatically directed, navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page.
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click Continue.
- You are connected!
Mac:
- Select the WiFi menu icon at the top of your screen.
- Select the network available to you: TMU-WiFi.
- Open your internet web browser and you will be automatically directed to the authentication page.
- If you have not been automatically directed, navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page.
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click Continue.
- You are connected!
Android:
- Open the Settings application.
- Tap the Wifi tab under Wireless & networks.
- Select the network available to you: TMU-WiFi.
- Remove Private Addressing: Remove Private Addressing on iOS and Android Devices - TMU IT Service Desk (helpdocs.com).
- Tap on the authentication notification which will direct you to our network authentication page.
- If you did not receive a notification, open your web browser and navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page.
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click Continue.
- You are connected!
iOS:
- Open the Settings application.
- Make sure the Wifi indicator is turned on.
- Remove Private Addressing: Remove Private Addressing on iOS and Android Devices - TMU IT Service Desk (helpdocs.com).
- Your internet browser will open automatically and you will be directed to the authentication page.
- If you have not been automatically directed, navigate to www.masters.edu and you will be brought to the authentication page.
- Enter in your faculty/staff username and password.
- Agree to the terms and services and click Continue.
- You are connected!
